The 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed is rammed with interesting cars – old and new. There are more than 350 vehicles entered at this year’s festival and we’ve picked the highlights to help guide you to the most interesting metal. This is the new Audi RS7 Sportback, just unveiled at the 2013 Detroit auto show. It's an A7 Sportback given the hardcore RS treatment, meaning a 552bhp and 516lb ft 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 that will sprint the RS7 to 62mph in 3.9sec. That's faster than the latest Porsche 911 – it seems life just got a bit harder for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG and BMW M6 Gran Coupe.

The BMW X6 M50d – BMW’s diesel-powered M car – gets a second video tease today, this time with talking heads. The BMW X6 M50d – or whatever convoluted moniker BMW decides to attach toi their diesel-powered M X6 – is certainly getting the full force of the BMW new product tease machine. Ignoring the real leaks about a diesel-powered X6, we’ve already had one video tease for the new X6 M50d, with the X6 blatting around mountain roads with the important bits blurred out.
